What are the new features to help you monitor your account health?

In the coming months, you will start to see new features on your Account Health page. The first of these new features is that your Account Health Rating (AHR), in addition to the colors that currently exists, will be displayed as a point value based on a scale of 0 to 1,000, enabling you to see how close you are to the various thresholds that move your AHR from green (Healthy) to yellow (At Risk) to red (Unhealthy). As you know, the latter means that your account is at risk of deactivation.

How else can you monitor your account health?

The Account Health page will also display the degree to which any violations impact your account health, allowing you to prioritize addressing those that are most negatively affecting it. The AHR does not change Amazon’s existing policies but rather aggregates violations of certain Amazon policies into a single score that shows your overall account health status.

To ensure your account health is evaluated in the context of the size of your business, points are also granted when a minimum number of orders are filled. All new sellers start with a score of 200, and over time, sellers will see a score that accurately reflects their account health based on policy adherence and selling activities over the last 180 days.

How do you imperil your account health?

You risk deactivation by violating Amazon’s policies, which are ranked in severity. The severity levels and some examples are as follows:


  • Customer reports a product they received is expired or in the wrong condition, i.e. listing a used item in new condition
  • Product detail page shows an incorrect product variation


  • Diverting customers away from Amazon to circumvent the sales process
  • Manipulating search results or sales rankings


  • Rights owner submits valid notice of infringement
  • Customer reports of infringing or counterfeit products


  • Product is counterfeit or pirated as determined via a test buy
  • Solicitation of product reviews or inclusion of non-compliant inserts
  • Attempting to damage or abuse another seller
