Amazon Prime Day 2018: What you should know
Amazon has announced that it’s annual Prime Day will take place on July 16, 2018, at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. This is basically the equivalent of a Black Friday/Cyber Monday of the summer. And, it’s just for Amazon Prime customers. There will be special deals for Prime customers that others will not be able to access. The major sale is a day and a half long, allowing plenty of time for purchases to be made on all sorts of products. In fact, Prime Day (and a half) has never been extended for so long.
It is also important to note that there are already some pre-Prime Day deals going on for certain televisions, Amazon’s Echo Show, Amazon’s Fire Tablet, robotic vacuums, laptops, Amazon Basics products, and many others. Of course, Amazon is going to be giving great discounts on its own products, such as the family of Echo products, Fire TV sticks, Fire Tablets, Kindles, and more.
Prime Day deals won’t be exclusive to just electronics. Many home goods and kitchen gadgets are expected to go on sale as well. It will be interesting to see the reports that come out regarding Amazon’s earnings on Prime Day, as it has been such a success in previous years.
