Amazon announced that this year, it brought in over $10 billion globally on Prime Day, which is up 45% from last year’s Prime Day. This can be attributed to various causes, however, the coronavirus pandemic is a large part of it. Ever since the pandemic hit the United States, the general population largely shifted to purchasing items online, and there is very little sign that this trend will come to an end any time soon.

In fact, a recent Google survey states that 73% of holiday shoppers plan to shop online during the coronavirus pandemic.

Not only does getting an early start give you an edge, but you also have several deadlines to meet in order to qualify. For example, inventory for Black Friday and Cyber Monday must arrive at Amazon fulfillment centers by November 6, and you also must ensure that all inventory for Christmas shopping arrives at Amazon fulfillment centers by December 1.
