April Announcement for Amazon Sellers: New Tools and Services
If you are a small business on the Amazon Marketplace, it can be an exciting, yet confusing experience sometimes. Amazon takes feedback pretty regularly from Amazon sellers and continues to roll out new options almost weekly. Since the new year, Amazon has launched 50 new tools to help businesses like yours thrive in Amazon’s stores. Keeping up can be quite difficult. Amazon’s latest press release is important to check out, but we have tried to sum up some of the new features available to you.
Some New Features
Amazon has lauched too many tools to mention in one article. Below are our hand-picked favorites for the 2019 rollout.
- Brand Analytics: Brand Analytics provides businesses with enhanced tools to explore popular search terms and comparable products. While looking at your competition and visibility, you are able to adjust your strategy to show up in more search queries and, to great benefit, reach more people.
- Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Monthly Storage and Removal Fee Waiver: Are you launching a new product to Amazon? For a limited promotional period, Amazon will waive FBA storage and removal fees in select regions in order for sellers to test out new-to-amazon products. This is only available in select regions.
- Global Registration Experience: Amazon is dedicated to helping small to medium sized business like yours expand globally. With the new Sell Across the World workflow, it is easier than ever to expand exponentially and reach audiences and potential customers across the world.
- New & Improved Seller University: Work smarter… not harder! Amazon has refreshed Seller University eLearning content with live practice opportunities ready to help sellers learn how to be more efficient and operate optimally on the marketplace.
More Events Than Ever
Another huge addition to help sellers is the growing number of events to educate sellers. Some of the most recent events include Amazon Academy across Europe, The Boost Conference, and the brand new Selling Partner Summits featured in cities across America, a series of six conferences to help small sellers grow their business. These are wildly popular events, so it is important to sign up before they sell out.
Amazon is a fiercely competitive marketplace. These new tools and those that already exist are important to utilize. Don’t get lost in the shuffle. Get moving and start looking into what is available to you before your competition does. As always, keep your eye on seller central or come on back for more tidbits and tips from Ebiz Accounting.
